It's Time for Sports Physicals
Student athletes who are competing at the high school level need a sports physical every 2-3 years (MN-3 yrs, WI-2 yrs). To save your time, before your appointment please download the Minnesota or Wisconsin sports physical form, complete the portions you are able, and bring it along with you to your child's appointment. Schedule your child's appointment with one of our pediatric or family medicine providers now before the busy summer begins.

It's time for Junior High Check-Ups
Minnesota and Wisconsin schools require students who are entering middle school or junior high school to have a well teen check and updated immunizations. To save your time, before your appointment please download the parent and teen GAPS survey, complete the forms and bring them along with you. Please be sure our clinic has a record of your child's prior immunizations if they received care somewhere else during infancy and early childhood. Schedule your child's appointment with one of our pediatric or family medicine providers before the busy summer begins.

New Booster Seat Law in Minnesota
Effective July 1, 2009, a child who is both under age 8 and shorter than 4 feet 9 inches is required to be fastened in a child safety seat that meets federal safety standards. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for childre ages 4-16.

Watch Out for Whooping Cough
Whooping cough, otherwise known as pertusis, is coughing its way through the St. Croix Valley. This is a preventable disease, but requires booster vaccines throughout life. Adults and teens are most commonly affected by this 8 week coughing illness. This contagious disease is more than an annoying cough, and it can be life-threatening. Don't wait; call (651) 439-1234 to schedule an appointment and ask your healthcare provider about getting your Tdap, the booster for whooping cough and tetanus.

In other words, this patient could eat that food without having any symptoms. more...
