Drug Testing In The Workplace

WorkWell Occupational Health Services assists companies in conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing. Drug and alcohol testing is best conducted as part of the overall health and safety program of the company. Medical and procedural consultation available through WorkWell can help you plan and carry out a comprehensive workplace drug and alcohol testing program.

Drug and alcohol testing through WorkWell Occupational Health is conducted under all applicable Federal and State laws. As information on this topic develops and changes, it is communicated to the company. WorkWell monitors the entire process of workplace drug and alcohol testing at Stillwater Medical Group to assure that consistent ethical and legal procedures are upheld.

Drug and/or alcohol test specimens are sent for processing to an appropriately licensed, accredited or certified laboratory. Initial urine drug test results are reported to WorkWell Occupational Health Services. After the results are reviewed by the Medical Review Officer (MRO), they are phoned to the authorized company contact person and followed with a written confirmation of the drug testing results.
