While international travel can be exciting and adventurous there are precautions that each traveler should take to prevent potential health risks. Although most immunizations are not required for entry into foreign countries, they provide valuable protection for people who wish to travel in good health.
Stillwater Medical Group's International Travel Clinic was developed to provide individuals with peace of mind while traveling. As you begin to plan your international travel, we encourage you to schedule an appointment for a travel consultation and immunizations at our International Travel Clinic. Immunization schedules may run eight (8) weeks in length.
Scheduling your appointment:
Individuals requesting immunizations for out of the country traveling will need to make an appointment for a travel consultation. Please bring your health history, immunization records, and your travel itinerary to your appointment. We will review precautionary information with you at that time. Some immunization schedules can take up to eight weeks, so make your appointment as soon as you start planning your trip. Be certain to receive any required immunization in advance.
Insurance:
If you are an established patient of Stillwater Medical Group we will submit your claim. Please keep in mind that not all plans cover all immunizations. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance plan prior to the appointment. You will be billed for any uncovered services.
If you are not an established patient with Stillwater Medical Group you will be asked to pay following your appointment.
